DREAD Spy Project

Reuters reports that in 2008, the UAE launched a spy program called “Dread” with the support of the US Department of State and the National Security Agency to help the UAE fight terrorism and al-Qaeda, but its goals are after The revolutions of the Arab Spring in 2011 “deviated” from their course because the UAE feared the protests would spawn the sheikhs, so it used the program against those who called its enemies.

According to the report, the Emirates’ inability to learn quickly led to retirement of US forces, led by former US intelligence chief Richard Clark and a clear confession from the United States that they used Emirates fpr their expense to spy on the whole world.

It is noteworthy that Clark’s relationship with Mohammed bin Zayed began before the Second Gulf War in 1991, just as Mohammed bin Zayed was authorized to use the Emirates airspace to bomb Iraq, as well as to support US war actions. Bill Clinton gave Billions of dollars in order to expel Saddam’s army from Kuwait, another confession that reveals the factors behind the devastation of Iraq over the past decades, while today we see the UAE at the top of coubtried which crying for the nation of Iraq ( crocodile tears) and using the money and the media to push Iraqis against each other.

ـ Under the program, the UAE hijacked some governments in 2012 and 2015 and gained access to the phones of some media activists and some leaders, including Qatar’s Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani; It shows the bigotry that Muhammad bin Zayed is caught in, and the US exploits this bigotry in the worst possible way.

Strangely enough, this is not the first time the UAE has spied with open support of United States . The Emirates also used former US National Security Service and US intelligence agents to spy on their enemies, and the project was named “Raffin”. Raffin’s plan was to spy on governments such as Iran, Qatar, Turkey and Oman, as well as human rights activists, in the war that Mohammed bin Zayed declared against everyone; Reminiscent of Dan Quixote’s battles with Cervantes champion!
